Sound Form Studios was started as a home for the public and placemaking arts work of artist Aaron Hoke Doenges. Formed in 2019, Sound Form aims to enrich public arts projects through joint artist/community ownership, and to help communities and organizations approach their challenges through creative process and practice. Aaron Hoke Doenges is a sound artist and composer based in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Belmont University with a Master of Music in Composition, and since has had his work performed and installed locally, nationally, and internationally.
After attending Metro Arts: Nashville Office of Arts and Culture's Learning Lab training program, Doenges' focus shifted to include placemaking, civic and social arts practices that include community participation and input.
